If you’ve made it to my little corner of the internet, you’re most likely a single Christian.

Maybe you feel miserable about being single.

Maybe you feel stoked about singleness.

Maybe you thought life would look differently than it does.

Maybe you’re fully confident in who you are… or completely insecure.

Maybe it feels like something is missing.

No matter what you’re feeling, you are welcome here; I see you singles and I’m here figuring it all out with you!

I’ve gone through every emotion above about my singleness. After being single for 10+ years I’ve learned some lessons that I want to pass on to you.

As I started embracing my singleness one of the things I kept saying to myself was, live your life. So I wouldn’t let singleness stop me from doing the things I wanted to do. If I wanted to go hiking, I’d go and do it regardless of if I had anyone to go with. If I wanted to go to a sports event, I’d go even if it meant sitting by myself.

Live your life. Don’t wait. If you want to buy a house, buy it. You want to teach teens about Jesus, look for opportunities. You want to go to a movie, go to the theatre. You want to foster kids, do it. Live your life. Don’t let singleness stop you from doing what you want to do and especially from what you feel God calling you to do.

Right now I’m living this life as a single: meal planning for one, budgeting for one, table for one, travelling for one… life for one. BUT I also get to live life for the ONE, Jesus. Jesus has called me (and you) to live abundantly for and with Him regardless of our relationship status, and it’s a beautiful thing.

Welcome to Life For One!
